Orebro SK finish top after Hammarby slip up

Orebro SK capitalised on Hammarby’s defeat to clinch top spot on the final day of the regular Futsalligan season ahead of the play-offs.

Hammarby were beaten 7-2 by Boras to surrender top spot, as rivals Orebro won 4-3 against Skoftebyns.

Both sides finished on 46 points from 22 games, but Orebro finished above their rivals on goal difference.

The league winners finished with 128 goals from 22 games – more than any other side. They won four of their last five games and go into the play-offs in top form.


Play-offs

Goteborg finished third and won their last two games, while Uddevalla made fourth. AFC Eskilstuna, Strangunas, Orebro FC and Boras make up the play-off teams.

These are the quarter-final ties:

Örebro SK – AFC Eskilstuna
Hammarby IF – Örebro FC
IFK Göteborg – Borås AIK
IFK Uddevalla – Strängnäs FC


Relegation

Torslanda and Skoftebyns were relegated with 17 points and 13 points respectively.
