Round five of the Coca-Cola Super League has started. Unexpected results were recorded in the first two matches of the 5th round. Here’s how the results played out and a look at the table:

NEFTCHI 1-3 BUNYODKOR

Neftchi, who hosted Bunyodkor, unexpectedly lost.

Alexander Jesich opened the scoring in the 51st minute of the game. Bunyodkor repllied with a flurry of three goals, scored by Farncis Narh, Umarali Rakhmonaliyev and Usmonali Ismonaliyev.

OLIMPIC 0-1 QIZILQUM

Olimpic also defeated by Qizilqum thanks to a single goal by Sanjar Shoahmedov, who popped up in the 29th minute.

In the 94th minute of the match, Olympic forward Polatkhoja Holdorkhonov missed a penalty and the score remained unchanged.

DINAMO 3-1 LOKOMOTIV 

Dinamo achieved its first victory of the season against Lokomotiv.

In the 13th minute of the game, Mikhail Yovanovich put Dinamo ahead.

Less than 20 minutes later, Muhammadanas Hasanov equalized for the away side. In the second half, Dinamo’s Sahob Rashidov and Fahriddin Alimov were able to find the net and hauled Dimano back into the game, winning 3-1. Thus, Dinamo won its first victory of the season in front of its fans.

NAVBAHOR 1-2 SOGDIANA

The biggest match of the fifth round was held in Namangan.

Navbahor hosted Sogdiana, who were defeated thanks to a last minute goal from Donyor Abdumannonov. Shohruz Norxonov put the away side ahead after just 12 minutes, before Zoran Marushich found an equalizer on the 32nd minute.

The next hour was fought evenly, but Abdumannonov popped up late to grab an important away win for Sogdiana.

AGMK 3-0 QO’QON-1912

AGMK hosted Kokand 1912 and ran out as comfortable 3-0 winners.

A Sanjar Tursunov free-kick in the 22nd minute opened the scoring for the home side, who didn’t look back and dominated the first half. Sanat Shikhov scored an own goal at the start of the second half to disrupt any momentum the away side had. In the 92nd minute of the match, the Iranian debutant of AGMK Siyavush Haqnazari picked up a goal to make his first game a memorable one. After this victory, AGMK rose to 6th place in the tournament table.
