Cannes go third
Cannes bounced back from two successive defeats to beat Nantes 3-2 (22-25, 25-16, 19-25, 26-18, 15-13) and go third in the table. They have 11 points from their six matches.
The visitors came back from two sets to one down with Lincoln Williams displaying his quality once again with 22 points and six aces. He has 123 points this season, the second most in the division behind Peter Michalovic of Nantes – who has 153.

Nantes have now lost five of their six matches and are in 12th place.
Toulouse come from behind to win
Ajaccio lost their sixth successive match to Toulouse 3-2 (25-23, 22-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11) in a close encounter in the Ligue Nationale de Volley.
Ajaccio led by two sets to one but started to make unforced errors, committing 20 in the match while the Spacers made just nine.

MVP of the match Gijs Jorna scored 18 for Toulouse, who have won four of their five league matches and sit fifth in the table with nine points. It was their third 3-2 win of the season.
Chaumont beat Nice
Elsewhere, Chaumont came from a set down to beat second-bottom Nice 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-19).
It was their first win in four after three successive defeats. Jesus Herrera scored 22 points for the hosts, who have gone fourth in the table – level on points with Cannes.
