Invincible Barcelona

Barcelona continued their astonishing winning run in the Liga ASOBAL, after they won their 32nd successive game this season.

The match

They beat Atletico Valladolid 32-21 to make it 32 successive wins in the division this season.

Haniel Langaro and Luis Frade both scored seven points each for Barca.

Granollers on track for top-four finish

Another form side are Granollers, who extended their winning run to nine games after also beating Atletico Valladolid, winning 33-29.

The match

Antonio García Robledo scored seven points for Granollers, who are still outside the top-four on points difference but have three games in hand on La Rioja.

They need to win just two of their last four games to guarantee a top-four place.

Guadalajara on the brink of relegation

At the bottom, three sides have already been relegated but one place is still up for grabs.

Quabit Guadalajara currently occupy that spot, having lost nine of their last 11 games. They suffered a narrow defeat at the weekend to reduce their chances of staying up, losing 28-27 to rivals Morrazo Cangas.

It was a cruel defeat that means their fate is no longer in their hands. They are three points off safety with a game in hand, but require wins from their final two games and results to go their way.
