The ADIB CUP quarter-final fixtures have been determined after the exciting conclusion of the Round of 16 matches.

In this thrilling competition, twelve teams engaged in two-leg encounters, both at home and away, with the anticipation of reaching the quarter-finals. Among the notable contenders are the defending champions, Sharjah FC, and last year’s league champions, Shabab Al Ahli, who eagerly await their chance to compete in the quarter-finals. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from the Round of 16 games.

Al Jazira vs Baniyas

Al Jazira qualified for the quarter-finals of the ADIB Cup after defeating Bani Yas 3-0 on penalties following their 3-3 aggregate draw over both legs (the away goals rule having been scrapped). Al Jazira goalkeeper Abdulrahman Alameri was the hero of that penalty shootout, saving all three penalties by Baniyas Club players.

Emirates vs Al Wahda

Argentinian player Facundo Daniel dazzled with a remarkable four-goal performance for Al Wahda as they asserted their dominance with an emphatic 5-0 triumph over Emirates Club. Building on their earlier 3-0 victory in the first leg, Al Wahda confidently booked their spot in the ADIB Cup quarter final.

Al Ain vs Al Bateah

Al Ain scored two first-half goals against Al Bateah, bumping up their aggregate score to 7-1 and sailing into the next round.

AL Nasr vs Ajman

Al Nasr scored four goals against Ajman to make it 4-1 and reach the next round, after a 2-2 draw in the first leg.

Hatta vs Al Wasl

Al Wasl reached the quarter-finals of the ADIB Cup after securing a 10-3 aggregate win over Hatta. The first leg was finished with 7-0 win for Al Wasl, but even though Hatta scored three goals, the game still finished 3-3 in second leg.

Ittihad Kalba vs KhorFakkan

Ittihad Kalba advanced to the quarter-final of ADIB Cup with a 6-2 aggregate win over Khorfakkan, despite the first leg was ending 1-1. Leandro Spadacio produced a spectacular performance, scoring a hat-trick in the second leg, which made all the difference.

Here are the quarter final fixtures:

Shabab Al Ahli vs Al Wasl

Al Jazira vs Al Wahda

Sharjah Fc vs Ittihad Kalba
