Spurs win the derby

Goals from in-form lethal forwards Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane gave Tottenham Hotspur a 2-0 win over Arsenal in the north London derby.

The win keeps Spurs at the top of the league with 24 points from 11 games, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.

The match

The South Korean curled in a stunning goal from 25 yards out in the 13th minute after Kane teed him up.

Then after an Arsenal attack fizzled out on the stroke of half time, Spurs broke with pace with Arsenal a man down due to Thomas Partey being off the pitch and injured.

Kane bent a run on the outside of Son, who played in his strike partner and he blasted his shot off the underside of the crossbar and into the net. Β It was Kane’s 250th goal of his professional career.
