It was the Spacerโs fifth straight victory in Ligue A Nationale Volley (LNV) and their third successive 3-2 win. They now have 11 points from six games โ three points behind Tourcoing in first.
Cambrai lose narrowly again
Cambrai were promoted from Ligue B last season and have two wins and three defeats from their five matches, sitting ninth in the league.
Itโs their second consecutive 3-2 defeat after leading 2-1 โ they lost to Sete in their previous match.
It was Cambraiโs first match in 19 days due to COVID-19 postponements, and their coach Gabriel Denys believes the lack of matches played a part in them tiring towards the end.
He said: โIt is true but itโs not the only reason. We must not forget we played against a side who wants to be at the top of the league.โ
