Last weekend saw matchday four of the Uzbekistan’s Coca-Cola Super League take place. The holders remain one of just four teams that remain undefeated across the Super League. Here’s our breakdown of the results, and the league landscape after four rounds.

KOKAND-1912 1-0 METALLURG

Nurmatov’s goal in the 21st minute proved to be the only goal of the game, as Kokand made it two wins from four games at the Markaziy Stadion in Kokand.

BUNYODKOR 2-1 DINAMO

Almost two thousand spectators were in attendance as the Bunyodkor stadium in the capital Tashkent to watch Bunyodkor come from behind to get a dramatic late win.

Rashidov put the away side ahead on the 16th minute. 10 minutes before half-time, Tomiva missed a penalty for the home side, which meant Dinamo lead all the way up to the 84th minute, when Rahmonaliyev equalised for Bunyodkor. Three minutes into injury time, Olmasaliyev grabbed a late winner for the hosts, sending the home crowd into scenes of celebration.

PAKHTAKOR 1-0 NAVBAHOR

The reigning champions ran out 1-0 winners against Navbahor in front of almost 13,000 fans in Tashkent, thanks to another late winner from Cheran.

QIZILQUM 3-0 NEFTChI – 3: 0 (1: 0)

An easy victory for Qizilqum, the team sat at the top of the league having conceded just one goal and scored eight. A Stanisavlevich penalty and a brace from Abdukholiqov sealed the win.

SURXON 1-2 AGMK

In Samarkand, the home side lost 2-1 in a difficult performance against AGMK. Giyosov and Boake with the fatal goals for the away side.

LOKOMOTIVE – NASAF – 0: 1 (0: 0)

A single goal from Nurulloyev was enough to secure the a first win of the season for Nasaf, after two draws in their first two games.

SOGDIYONA – OLYMPIC- 1: 1 (0: 0)

Third-placed Sogdiyona salvaged their undefeated record with a 93rd minute equaliser in front of a Sogdiana stadium packed with almost 12,000 fans. Olympic took the lead late on, with Jurakoziyev’s goal in the 78th minute. But with the final play of the game, Norkhonov was able deny the visitors of a crucial win, whilst maintaining their unbeaten record.
