Top two set to meet in the final
Orebro SK and Hammarby will meet in the final of the Swedish Futsalligan on Saturday 27 March after they both successfully navigated their semi final ties against Strangnas and Goteborg respectively.
The two sides, who finished in the top two places in the regular season, will meet in a blockbuster final with a trophy at stake.
Orebro stroll to final
Orebro SK progressed to their first final in their 10 year history. They won comfortably, beating Strangnas 6-3 to win the tie 13-7 on aggregate.
They will go into the final in excellent form, having won their last seven games and won 13 of their last 16 matches.
Hammarby lose but progress
It was a lot closer for Hammarby, who lost 1-0 at home to Goteborg and went through 4-3 on aggregate in a tight encounter. The reigning champions are looking to win the play-offs for the second successive season.
Head-to-head
In the two meetings they had during the league season, Hammarby won one and Orebro SK the other. In January, Hammarby won 2-1 while the return fixture at the beginning of the season finished in a resounding 4-0 win for Orebro SK.
