Wolves face Everton

Wolves entertain Everton at Molineux in the Premier League on Tuesday evening hoping to end a run of six (D2,L4) league games without a win.

Wolves form

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side blew a 3-1 lead in their last league game, drawing 3-3 at Brighton.Β  They sit 13th in the table with 22 points from 17 games. Wolves have scored just 18 goals – only four sides have scored fewer this season.

The West Midlands club have scored just nine goals in eight home matches this season in the Premier League. The hosts are without a clean sheet in 10 league games.

Everton form

Everton lie seventh in the Premier League with 29 points from 16 games. They are only outside the top four on goal difference.

The Toffees were beaten 1-0 by West Ham in their first match of 2021, ending a run of four consecutive league wins.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men have won their last two away games without conceding and have the fourth best away record in the league.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is out for Everton and Richarlison is a doubt, but Lucas Digne and James Rodriguez will be back.

Head-to-head

Wolves beat Everton 3-0 in their last meeting in July.
