Man City in need of a win
Manchester City travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Saturday with the hope of kick-starting their Premier League season after an indifferent start.
Pep Guardiola’s side have eight points from five games, and lie 13th in the table. They drew last week, 1-1 against West Ham United with Phil Foden scoring a 51st minute goal to cancel out Michail Antonio’s acrobatic strike in the first half.
Foden has had nine shots this season – more than any other City player.

Blades without a win this season
Chris Wilder’s side are searching for their first win this season – they sit 19th with one point and have lost five of their opening six games and have only scored one goal from open play.
Sheffield United were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool last weekend – taking the lead with a Sander Berge penalty but eventually fell to defeat with Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota scoring the goals.
The Blades are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and have scored just three league goals. They have been level at half-time in their five league games but have lost all five games.
Team news
City are without established strikers Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus and it’s expected that Raheem Sterling will start up front for Man City
Max Lowe could return for Sheffield United but John Fleck and Lys Mousset are missing, while Jack O’Connell is out for the season.
