Liverpool United draw

Manchester United remain top of the league after they drew 0-0 against Liverpool at Anfield.

In a high-stakes and much hyped game, it was another Liverpool Manchester United match that didn’t hit the heights.

Liverpool were the dominant side in the first half without threatening the goal, but in the second half, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba were denied by Alisson from close-range in two massive moments for the Red Devils to win the game.

Stats

United are unbeaten in 16 league away games, since they lost to Liverpool a year ago. That result left them 30 points adrift of their rivals.

Jurgen Klopp’s side drop to fourth and are without a win in four league games. Liverpool are without a goal in their last three games, their worst streak since 2005. They have scored just once in their last four games.

Liverpool are now unbeaten in 68 matches in the Premier League at home.
