Villa win at the Emirates
Aston Villa shocked Arsenal as they won 3-0 at the Emirates in the Premier League to move up to sixth in the Premier League.

The visitors had a goal ruled out for a marginal offside in the first minute but took the lead midway through the first half via a Bukayo Saka own goal.
Watkins, who is a boyhood Arsenal fan, made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute when he headed past Bernd Leno. He scored his sixth goal of the season when Jack Grealish carried the ball across the pitch and slipped in Watkins, who slotted past Leno.
Arsenal struggles
Arsenal are 11th in the table after an inconsistent start, winning four and losing four.
Mikel Arteta’s side have scored just nine goals in those eight games and haven’t scored from open play in the league in four matches.
💬 “It’s the first time that I’ve felt that we performed really under our standards and what we are trying to set at this football club. It’s unacceptable.”
Strong words from the boss.

They had just two shots on target against Aston Villa with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang failing to take a shot.
Arsenal have attempted fewer shots in the second half of Premier League matches (33) than any other side in the league.
Villa start
With five wins from seven matches, Aston Villa are three points off the top with a game in hand, and have a 100% away record so far this season.
It’s the first time in their history that they have won each of their first three away league games.
