Al Seeb beaten
League-leaders Al Seeb were beaten for the second successive game in the Oman top division, losing 2-1 to Al Nasr.
Al Seeb took the lead through Zahir Al Aghbari in the sixth minute, but were pegged back when Moses Cabero equalised in the 26th minute.
What it means
Rajab Marwan scored the winner for Al Nasr as they leapt to fourth in the table, just four points off the top. Al Seeb remain top despite losing for the second week running.
Dhofar draw a blank as Al Msnaa close the gap
Dhofar failed to take advantage and could only draw 0-0 to Al Suwaiq as they missed the chance to go level on points with the front runners.
They remain unbeaten with eight wins and two draws from their 10 games – two points behind Al Seeb. Al Suwaiq are fifth with 17 points from their 10 games.
Al Msnaa moved into joint second with their 2-0 win against Al Rustaq. It was their sixth win of the season. They are behind Dhofar on goal difference.
