Omoijuanfo lifts Molde to the top

Ohi Omoijuanfo continued his great run of form as he scored twice to help Molde go three points clear at the top of the league after they beat Strømsgodset 3-0.

Stian Rode Gregersen gave Molde the lead after just seven minutes, before Omoijuanfo struck twice in three minutes to put Erling Moe’s side 3-0 up before the half-hour.

The rest of the match was a formality as Molde strolled to victory. They have now won their last five games and are three points above Bodø/Glimt, who have played a game more than Molde.

Strømsgodset are 10th after losing their fourth game of the season.

Bodø/Glimt beaten as slump continues

Bodø/Glimt’s week went from bad to worse after they were beaten 1-0 by Sandefjord. They have won just one of their last four games and have surrendered their five-point lead at the top.

Alexander Ruud Tveter scored the only goal of the game in the 51st minute to give the hosts victory. It was a significant win for Sandefjord – their third win of the season. Hans Erik Ödegaard and Andreas Tegström’s side moved out of the bottom three and are up to 12th in the table.
