A 93rd minute equaliser from Martinez saved Universidad Central from a shock loss against strugglers Rayo Zuliano.
UCV defender, Gonzalez received a red card in the 32nd minute to make it even harder for the team.
However, the late comeback was enough to send them second in the standings.
Puerto Cabello 2-2 Monagas
In another four goal thriller, third place Puerto Cabello had to settle for a point against Monagas.
Puerto Cabello scored early on and even missed a penalty which would’ve turned out to be the decider.
Even with 10 men, late on in the second half, Monagas held on for a well-deserved share of the points.

Atletico La Cruz secured a 2-1 victory over Dynamo Puerto to take an early lead in Group Centro-Oriental, but only by a better goal difference.
Yaracuyanos dropped 3 points for the first time this season as they only drew 0-0 with Heroes de Falcon. However, they remain top of Group Occidental.
