Liga ACB round-up: Real Madrid make it 10/10, Barcelona, Tenerife and Baskonia also win

Real Madrid make it 10 in a row

Real Madrid won their tenth straight match in the Liga ACB, beating Montakit Fuenlabrada 79-68.

It is the thirteenth time a side has won their first 10 games of the season and the first time since 2015/16.

The Whites trailed 40-33 at half-time, but responded well with Jaycee Carroll coming on and scoring 18 points with four of those three-pointers.

Real Madrid won the third quarter 28-11 to turn the game around and make it 10 wins from 10 games.

They average the second highest points per match in the ACB with 87.6 and concede the least per game with 73 points per game.

Los Blancos also score the most triples per game (12.4) and are the most accurate with the three-pointers (40.13%).

Fuenlabrada are in 14th with three wins and six defeats from their nine games.

Barcelona also win

Barcelona won away at Estudiantes 92-78 with Artem Pustovyi scoring 18 points and making five rebounds and two assists.

Nikola Mirotic scored 14 points for the visitors – who have won seven of their nine ACB matches and are in third.

Estudiantes are in 12th with four wins from their 10 matches.

Other results

Iberostar Tenerife are in second place after seven wins from their first eight games. They beat fifth-bottom Real Betis 77-73. Marcelo Huertas scored 19, while Giorgi Shermadini scored 15.

Baskonia also won, they beat Bilbao 82-68 and they sit fourth in the table with seven wins from 10.
