On Friday April 5th, the fourth tier of Chilean football begins for another competitive season.
Tercera A starts with Santiago City against newly promoted Constitución Unido.
14 clubs from Antofagasta to Los Ríos will chase the dream of reaching the third tier and the first level of professionalism in the Chilean pyramid.
League Format
The championship is played in a traditional round-robin league format.
After 26 rounds, first and second in the league are promoted to the Segunda División.
While the two last placing team are relegated to Tercera B and will remain amateur sides.
