It is only Regionalliga West that has survived the Coronavirus winter outbreak with the rest of the leagues suspended in the German fourth tier.
Situation at the top
At the halfway point, RW Essen lead the pack by four points ahead of Borussia Dortmund II. This is despite drawing 0-0 to SC Wiedenbrueck last weekend in a frustrating match for the league leaders.

Dortmund II cut the gap at the top after their 2-1 win over Alemannia Aachen. 19-year-old Ansgar Knauff scored twice for the hosts.
It was only Enrico Maaßen’s side second win in five games, after three draws. They crucially have a game in hand over Essen.
