KuPS continue great run of form
KuPS reduced the gap at the top of the Veikkausliiga to five points after they edged past Haka 1-0.
Diego Tomas scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time. It was KuPS’ sixth successive win, keeping five clean sheets in as many games.

However, they are still five points behind leaders HJK, who also have a game in hand.
Haka are third-bottom after losing three of their last four games.
More misery for Oulu
At the bottom, Oulu were beaten for the ninth time this season following a 1-0 defeat against FC Honka. Demba Savage scored a penalty in the first half to keep Oulu two points adrift at the bottom.
Weekend fixtures
It isn’t set to get any easier for Jyrki Ahola’s side as they host unbeaten league-leaders HJK Helsinki his weekend.
HJK have won their last nine games and have advanced to the next qualifying round of the Champions League after thrashing Buducnost Podgorica 7-1 on aggregate.
Elsewhere, Inter Turku can go above KuPS and into second if they get the better of HIFK. This is despite winning them only one of their last four games.
