Bottom two draw

The bottom two sides in the Finland Veikkausliiga league, Oulu and KTP, drew 1-1 as neither side were able to claim just their second win of the season.

The match

David Ramadingaye gave KTP the lead after 10 minutes, and they looked to be on the way to securing three important points, but they were pegged back with 10 minutes to go when Ruxi equalised.

What does it mean?

Both sides remain in the bottom two with Oulu bottom with four points and KTP two points in front.

KTP are without a win in seven games and have scored just nine goals this season.

For Oulu, it was only the second time this season that they had avoided defeat.

Lahti climb to fourth

None of the top three sides were in action but FC Lahti moved up to fourth with a 2-1 win against SJK.

The match

They came from behind to win as Jake Jervis gave the visitors the lead after 19 minutes. But a brilliant second-half response from Ilir Zeneli’s side saw them fight back.

Macoumba Kandji equalised before Jasin-Amin Assehnoun sealed victory from the spot with two minutes remaining.

What does it mean?

Lahti are unbeaten in their last seven games, winning four of those games.

SJK have lost four of their last eight games and have dropped to fifth in the league.
