Barcelona win El Clásico
Barcelona were victorious in the El Clásico against their great rivals Real Madrid in the EuroLeague, winning 79-72.
It was Barca’s fourth win out of five in the league and they sit third in the table, only separated from the top on points difference.
Whereas, it’s Madrid worst start this century after five games of the EuroLeague. The Whites have lost four of their five games and are 15th.

Kyle Kuric scored 15 for Barcelona, Brandon Davies added 14 while Sergi Martinez made nine rebounds for the hosts.
Calathes top for assists
Nick Calathes made seven assists for Barca, and he has the most assists in the division with 30.
Šarunas Jasikevičius’ side dominated the first half, leading 48-27 at half-time, making 15 out of 22 two-point attempts while Real Madrid only scored 7 of their 21.
Bayern’s best ever start
Bayern Munich set a club-record by winning four wins in a row for the first time in the EuroLeague by beating Olympiacos 74-68.

Wade Baldwin scored 18 points for Bayern against his former club while Vladamir Lučič managed 16 and made four rebounds and three assists.
The result was Olympiacos’ first defeat in four EuroLeague games.
Dorsey sparks Maccabi comeback
Maccabi Tel Aviv denied Khimki their first win of the EuroLeague this season by winning 89-87 in overtime in Russia.
Tel Aviv ended their three game losing run with the victory with Tyler Dorsey scoring 26 points and eight three-pointers for the Israeli side. He became just the 16th player in EuroLeague history to make eight or more three-pointers.

Maccabi were 81-76 behind with 40 seconds left but Scottie Wilbekin scored a lay-up and then Dorsey hit a three-pointer to take the game to overtime.

Then, Elijah Bryant scored two triples in overtime to win the game for Maccabi.
Zvezda comeback
Elsewhere, Crvena Zvezda fought back from a 14-point deficit in the third quarter to win 86-84 in overtime against CSKA Moscow.

Jordan Loyd scored 31 points for the Serbian side, a career high for the American. He scored nine of his 15 two-point attempts. It was Zvezda’s second win out of four games in the EuroLeague, and consecutive defeats for CSKA Moscow.
Loyd scored a crucial basket and a lay-up in overtime to help the hosts over the line. He is second in the division for points scored with 95, one behind Will Clyburn of CSKA – who scored 18 points.
