What it all means at the bottom
The two sides remain in the bottom three with Wadi Degla edging a point closer to El Gaish in 15th, who are just a point above them after they lost 1-0 to El Masry.
El Entag El Harby stay bottom on 11 points but are now only separated by goal difference with El Ismaily, who were beaten 2-1 by Ceramica Cleopatra.

Despite playing six more matches than third-placed Al Ahly, Al Ittihad can celebrate the fact they have moved into second after a 4-2 win against Al Mokawloon. It was their third win from their last four games.
