APOEL in a mess
28-time league champions APOEL Nicosia are in trouble once more. After manager Mick McCarthy appeared to steady the ship, they are now back in a rut after three defeats in the last two weeks and need another manager. They have had 13 permanent coaches since 2015.
Results
They were beaten 2-1 by Doxa on Tuesday, going a goal up through Tomas De Vincenti but conceding twice to Berak Sadik.
Two days before, they were beaten 2-0 by bottom side Paralimni. It was only Paralimini’s second win from 16 games.
APOEL also fell to defeat against Karmiotissa, who are just a point behind them in the table. APOEL are four points off the bottom with a game in hand.
