In the Southern Conference, CD Ánimas and CD Valdivia are level at 1-1.
UDEC on the brink
Universidad de Concepción won 93-81 in the second match of the series, showing character after trailing 27-18 at the end of the first quarter.
For UDEC Carlos Lauler and Diego Silva with 20 and 17 points respectively were the standout players for UDEC. Lauler was named MVP for the second straight match after scoring 20 points, five rebounds and two assists.

In the Southern Conference, it is all-square after CD Ánimas beat CD Valdivia 69-65 to level the series at 1-1.

It was a very close encounter in the early stages as CD Valdivia led 19-16 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, the scores were level at 29-29 but a strong third quarter from CD Ánimas changed the landscape of the game with Cristian Aminucci becoming more influential as they took a 53-42 lead.
The final quarter became tense, especially when Enzo Amado Ivankovic scored a triple seconds to reduce the deficit to two points but Franco Morales secured victory with a two-pointer.
Amicucci named MVP
Cristian Aminuci scored 23 points, 10 rebounds and one assist as he was named MVP.
