Sportiva Italiana continue perfect start

Sportiva Italian recorded a 74-54 win against Liceo de Curicó to win their eighth successive game and remain unbeaten at the top of the table.

Federico Herrera scored 15 points and seven rebounds while Matías Lubiano registered 12 points and five rebounds.

Sergio Mijares scored 15 points for  the hosts.

Sportiva Italiana hold a one point lead at the top over Stadio Italiano but they have played a game more than the leaders.

Stadio Italiano made it back-to-back wins in the league following a 94-81 win against Tinguiririca San Fernando.

Ramiro Gálvez scored 20 points while Piero Simonetti made 19.

Matías Sepúlveda top-scored with 17 for the away side.

In extra time, Árabe Valparaíso defeated Club Arturo Prat 94-84.

Alonso Maldonado top-scored with 20 points for the victors.

Carlos Ahuile was another key performer; he added 12 points and 17 rebounds.

For the away team, Felipe Ortega was unlucky to be on the losing side as he  registered 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Club Brisas’ miserable start to the season continued as they were beaten 72-62 by Boston College.

Rodrigo Rojas registered 20 points for the visitors, who have won four matches in a row and sit third in the table with 13 points.
