Leipzig host Dortmund

Second plays fourth in the Bundesliga as RB Leipzig host Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

Leipzig form

Leipzig lie second in the table and are unbeaten in their last eight Bundesliga games. Julian Nagelsmann’s side edged past Stuttgart last weekend with Dani Olmo scoring the only goal.

Their home form is the best in the division, with six wins and one draw from seven games. The hosts have scored 16 and conceded just three goals at the Red Bull arena.

Dortmund form

Borussia Dortmund sacked manager Lucien Favre in December and have appointed Edin Terzic until the end of the season.

He has won two of three Bundesliga games so far as manager. BVB beat Wolfsburg last weekend with Jadon Sancho scoring his first league goal of the season.

Head-to-head

RB Leipzig have only won two of their eight games against Dortmund, and haven’t won any of their last five games.

Other fixtures

Bayer Leverkusen will be hoping to bounce back after back-to-back defeats when they host Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Schalke’s winless run continues. They have not won in 30 Bundesliga games, last winning on January 17th. The rock-bottom side face 13th placed Hoffenheim at the Veltins Arena.
