In game week 6 of the ADNOC UAE Pro League, Al Wasl put in a convincing display to defeat Hatta 5-0.
It was a game full of chances and attacking display. Fabio De Lima opened the scoring for Al Wasl in the 24th minute.
Then two goals in the space of 11 minutes put the game seemingly beyond doubt. With the high tempo established early on by Al Wasl, Nicolas Gimenez swiftly added two more goals to make it 3-0 before half time.
The Video Assistant Referee confirmed the third goal in the 39th minute.
The second half started as the first finished with Al Wasl in complete control.
Subsequent goals in the 68th minute, by Siaka Sidibe and 89th minute, again by Fabio De Lima sealed a resounding victory.
The win elevated Al Wasl up the table and place them in contention for the battle at the top. While Hatta are still pointless as their struggles in the league this season continue to persist.
