It was another thrilling weekend of action in the Sky Bet League Two as league leaders Forest Green won again. Leyton Orient, Hartlepool and Rochdale all maintained their solid starts, while Oldham’s troubles continued. Meanwhile, Sutton United secured their first ever win in the Football League.
Forest Green edge past Northampton as Harrogate slip up
Forest Green lead the way in League Two after Jamile Matt’s 77th minute goal proved to be the difference in a close contest against Northampton.

Matt headed home from a Nicky Cadden cross which Northampton goalkeeper Roberts was unable to keep out after a string of fine saves.
Meanwhile, second-placed side Harrogate Town could only draw 2-2 at home to Newport County.
A thrilling first half saw all four goals come before the break. Scot Bennett got the away side in front after just three minutes.
Jack Muldoon equalised for Harrogate before Robbie Willmott quickly replied to put the away side ahead for the second time of the match.
Just before the break, Luke Armstrong scored to level the game up.
Orient hammer Oldham; Sutton break their duck; Scunthorpe suffer heavy defeat
Leyton Orient added to Oldham’s woes with an emphatic 4-0 win at Brisbane Road.
The away side currently going through problems on and off the field were unable to reply from the first half strikes by Aaron Drinan and Thomas James to lead at the break.
The home side then added two more in the second half with Theo Archibald and Harry Smith both getting on the scoresheet.
Another side struggling for a win was also beaten 4-0.
Scunthorpe United were thrashed at home by Exeter City, who took the lead after 41 minutes when Matt Jay put the Grecians ahead.
Jay doubled his teams and his own goals for the day by making it 2-0 just after half-time.
Josh Key and Timotee Dieng scored the next two respectively to give the away side a comfortable win and leave ‘The Iron’ lingering around the relegation zone.
Sutton United got their first win in the Football league with a 2-1 home victory against 10-man Stevenage. A Richie Bennett double gave the home side the win, coming back from an Elliott List opener.

Matty Lund scored in stoppage time as Salford beat Bradford City 1-0, bringing the Bantams winless run to three games.
Barrow lost out to Colchester in a thrilling game which saw both teams reduced to 10 men, the Essex side took the spoils in a 3-2 victory, goals from Alan Judge, Freddie Sears and Tom Eastman helping them along the way.
Walsall are now unbeaten in three thanks to a 3-1 win at home to struggling Mansfield Town, George Miller’s brace and Ash Taylors goal in between put The Saddlers into a strong 3-0 lead before Mansfield’s Danny Johnson pulled one back late on.
Swindon went down 2-1 at home to Port Vale and Crawley Town beat Carlisle by the same scoreline
Hartlepool continue to show they are at ease with the step up back into the Football League with a fourth win of the season thanks to a 1-0 win courtesy of a goal from Jamie Sterry in the 69th minute to seal the three points.
Rochdale also claimed a 1-0 win at Spotland thanks to Danny Cashman’s goal in the 84th minute, which left Tranmere with the short journey home empty handed.

Despite their draw, Harrogate remain the only unbeaten team in the division and they sit second behind leaders Forest Green.
eyton Orient occupy the final automatic promotion spot whilst: Hartlepool, Rochdale, Bradford and Swindon Town all are in the play offs spots.
Oldham remain rooted to the foot of the division with Sutton in 23rd place just a couple of points ahead. Scunthorpe United and Bristol Rovers are just above the relegation zone as it stands.
