The match
There were six different goalscorers for the hosts with Ulrik Saltnes scoring a brace in the opening 15 minutes.
Ola Solbakken added a third just before the half-hour mark, before Erik Botheim made it four a few minutes before half-time.
The All-Yellows slowed down at the beginning of the second half, but they stepped up in the final 20 minutes as goals went in at both ends.
Hugo Vetlesen notched in the 71st minute to make it 5-0, while Mikkel Maigaard scored a consolation.
Lasse Nordås and Axel Lindahl both came off the bench to compound the pain for the visitors, before a late goal by Gustav Valsvik reduced the deficit.
What does it mean?
Kjetil Knutsen’s side had 28 shots on goal with 16 of those on target. They have 19 points from eight games, two points ahead of Molde. It was a reality check for Strømsgodset who beat Rosenborg 2-1 at the weekend. They are eighth with seven points from six games.

Molde moved up to second after they thrashed Sarpsborg 4-1, their fifth win of the season. Goals came in the second half from Ohi Omoijuanfo, Eirik Andersen, Martin Bjørnbak and Birk Risa.
