Must-win game for Fulham
Fulham host Wolves in a must-win game for Scott Parker’s side in the Premier League as they battle relegation.
Fulham form
The Cottagers are in must-win territory. They are three points from safety having played a game more and face a Wolves side who are in mid-table and have little to play for.
The hosts took the lead at Aston Villa last week and were briefly out of the relegation zone with 15 minutes to go but the pressure seemed to get to the players and they collapsed, conceding three goals in six minutes.
The strugglers have won just five of 31 games this season and only two at home this season, which were against the bottom two – West Brom and Sheffield United.
Wolves form
Wolves have been unable to match their achievements of their last two seasons, where they came seventh in both seasons and went deep in cup competitions.
Raul Jimenez’s injury dented their attacking threat and destabilized the side with no player able to replace the goals lost.
On Monday night, they were somewhat unfortunate as they played with more attacking verve and had 20 shots against a clinical West Ham side.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side fought back from 3-0 down in the first half to arguably warrant a draw as they dominated the play in the second half.
Wolves are without a win in their last five and have won just three of their last 10 games.
Head-to-head
Wolves won the reverse fixture 1-0 and have won eight of their last 11 league matches against Fulham.
