Pep Guardiola’s unstoppable Manchester City side will aim to make it 21 successive wins in all competitions tonight when they face Wolves at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
Man City form
Man City are on an unprecedented run in English football, embarking on a 14 match winning run in the Premier League and 20 in all competitions.
The Blues had to dig deep to beat 2-1 West Ham on Saturday and extend their lead at the top to 12 points.
City are unbeaten in 27 games in all competitions and can match their club record from 2017 if they avoid defeat against Wolves.
Wolves form
Wolves have had a difficult campaign sitting 12th in the table and dipping below the standards set in their last two seasons.
Yet, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are unbeaten in their last five league games (W3, D2).
They came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Newcastle last weekend. Goals have been hard to come by though with Mexican striker Raul Jimenez a huge miss.
Willian Jose joined in January but he is yet to score while Adama Traore has not scored or assisted this season.
Wolves have won four of 13 away league matches this season, scoring just 12 goals.
Head-to-head
Wolves did the double over Man City last season, winning 2-0 at the Etihad. However, City won 3-1 this season at Molineux.
