City aim for 12 consecutive wins
Top-of-the-table Manchester City visit Everton in the Premier League, hoping to extend the gap at the top to 10 points.
Everton
Everton were beaten 2-0 by Fulham on Sunday, missing the chance to go above Liverpool in the table and temporarily move into the top four.
The Toffees will be without leading scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin again after he pulled up during the win over Spurs in the FA Cup.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have lost their last two home Premier League games conceding two in each and not scoring. They have won just once in their last five games.
Man City
Pep Guardiola’s side have won their past 11 games in the Premier League, and have won their last 16 in all competitions.
The Blues thrashed Tottenham 3-0 on Saturday with Ilkay Gundogan scoring a brace. However, the German was substituted with a groin injury and he’s ‘unlikely’ to be fit. Gundogan has been instrumental for City, scoring 11 goals in his last 12.
Kevin de Bruyne is back in the squad though alongside Sergio Aguero and they will be expected to make it 12 successive wins.
The Etihad side have conceded six goals in their last 23 games in all competitions since losing 2-0 to Spurs in November.
Head-to-head
Everton have won just one of their last 14 Premier League games against Man City (D4,L9), with City winning each of the last five meetings.
