Bayern visit Gladbach
Leaders Bayern Munich travel to Borussia Park to play Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Friday evening.
Bayern form
Hansi Flick’s side have a two-point lead at the top of the league after a thrilling 5-2 comeback win against Mainz last weekend.
Bayern have fallen behind in eight consecutive Bundesliga games, a club record. They have won five of those games, drawing the other three.
The champions have scored 44 goals in 14 Bundesliga games this season, averaging more than three goals a game. But they have conceded the most goals in the top six with 21.
Bayern Munich have won five and drawn one of their last six Bundesliga away games since they were beaten 4-1 by Hoffenheim in their opening away game of the season.
Gladbach form
Gladbach sit seventh in the table after a mixed start to the season. Breel Embolo scored the only goal of the game as they saw off Arminia Bielefeld last weekend.
It was their first victory in five Bundesliga games. Marco Rose’s side have won just two of their seven home matches this season.
Head-to-head
Gladbach have beaten Bayern in the Bundesliga in each of the last three seasons. Bayern have only won a quarter of their 52 Bundesliga games away to Gladbach (13).
