Dortmund lose at home
Borussia Dortmund were beaten 2-1 at home to FC Köln in a surprising defeat in the Bundesliga.
It was Köln’s first win away at Dortmund in 29 years and their first win in 19 league games, dating back to last season.
Dortmund drop to fourth, four points off the top of the league after the defeat. Ellyes Skhiri gave the visitors the lead in the ninth minute, tapping home at the back post after on-loan Dortmund midfielder Marius Wolf flicked on from a corner.
Skhiri scored again on the hour mark to double Köln’s lead, scoring a similar goal as he tapped home at the back post. It was his third goal in his last two Bundesliga games.

Thorgan Hazard came off the bench to halve the deficit in the 74th minute, bending a shot into the far corner after an incisive move.
Lucien Favre’s side have not drawn a game in almost a year. They have won 19 and drawn seven of their last 26 games.
Köln move out of the bottom three with a win and have six points from nine games.
