Tourcoing lose unbeaten record
After five successive wins, Tourcoing were finally beaten in the French Ligue Nationale Volley division (LNV). They lost 3-0 to Sete (25-20, 25-19, 25-23) in their first official match for a month. The win was Sete’s third in a row in the league.

However, the league-leaders bounced back with a midweek win against Narbonne winning 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18). Sasa Starovic was named MVP of the match after he scored 13 points for Tourcoing.

The win put them on top of the league with 17 points from seven games, a point above Cannes – who have played a game more. Narbonne have four wins from seven games and are in sixth place.

Cannes were involved in a very close match against Poitiers, winning 3-2 after throwing away a 2-0 lead (25-12, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19, 16-14).
Slovenian player Danijel Koncilja scored 20 points and made six blocks for Cannes.

Tours are in third after winning their fifth straight game 3-1 against Paris (25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21).
They made 14 blocks in the match, compared with just two made by Paris.
Montpellier inflicted Narbonne’s first loss of the week, beating them 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-22) to make it five successive wins in the LNV.
