La Guaira score twice in stoppage time
Ten-man Deportivo La Guaira scored twice in added time against Carabobo to maintain their three-point lead at the top of Group A in Venezuela.
The Oranges went down to ten-men after 11 minutes when Jose Velasquez was shown a straight red for preventing a goal-scoring opportunity.
Carabobo had an extra player for over an hour, but also had a player dismissed when Luis Melo was sent off for two yellow cards.
Daniel Fariasโs side left it late and went ahead in stoppage time when they were given a penalty for handball. Substitute Jovanny Bolivarโs free-kick was spilt by the goalkeeper and Charlis Ortizโs shot was handled by William Diaz.

Bolivar stepped up and rifled his penalty high into the net, which led to huge celebrations from the visiting players.
Bolivar then set up the second goal for Ortiz. As the hosts pursued an equaliser, space opened up for a counter and he ran most of the pitch to give Ortiz a simple finish.
La Guaira are now unbeaten in seven games and have won their past three Group A matches. They travel to Trujillanos on Sunday, who are the only side that have beaten them this season.
Carabobo are bottom of Group A with no wins from their 10 matches.
Deportivo Lara win twice in a week
Deportivo Lara are up to second, three points behind La Guaira having played a game more. ย They are away at Academia Puerto Cabello on Saturday.

They came from a goal down to beat Trujilannos 2-1 with Bryan Jose Castillo Rosendo and Freddy Vargas scoring after Manuel Granados gave the hosts the lead.
They then hammered Atletico Venezuela 4-0 with Jesus Daniel Bueno Aรฑez and Freddy Vargas netting, before Juan Carlos Casetellanos Anuel bagged a brace.
Tachira lead Group B
In group B, Deportivo Tachira are still unbeaten and lead the table despite drawing 0-0 against Gran Valencia. They have 17 points from their seven matches and face Monagas on Friday.
Caracas are a point behind after beating Portuguesa 2-0. Goals came from Kwaku Bonsu Osei and a Richard Celis penalty.
