LA Lakers won their 17th title in NBA history on Sunday evening (US time) when they defeated Miami Heat 106-93.
It was their first title for 10 years, and a fourth MVP award for LA Lakers’s main man LeBron James.

The 35-year-old has now won four NBA titles after winning back-to-back titles at Miami Heat and one for Cleveland Cavaliers and becomes the first player to win NBA titles with three different franchises. He also becomes the the fourth different player to win the Finals MVP award at age 35 or older.

After the victory, Lakers coach Frank Vogel hailed James as ‘the best player the basketball universe has ever seen’.
James averaged 29.8 points in the finals and had a field goal accuracy of 59.1%. He also had a three-point accuracy of 46.9%.
The four-time winner and Anthony Davis are the latest Lakers duo to average 25+ points in a post-season. The last two were Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant in 2002.

LeBron James scored 28 points against Heat in the finals while Davis added 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Rajon Rando also contributed with big numbers, scoring 19 points, making four rebounds and four assists.
