AEK made it through to the semi-finals of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) after they defeated ERA Nymburk 94-82.
This is the second time that the Greek side have reached the semi-finals of this competition in their history. The last time they made it to the semi-finals was in 2018, the year they won it. It was also in the same arena.
It is also the first time ERA Nymburk have a lost an official game in all competitions since December 2019, a run of 32 matches.
A key aspect of the game was Nymburk’s profligacy from free throws. They only scored 13 from 24, compared with 9 out of 10 by AEK.
